Salmon recipe idea

If you find this blog...
please know...
I do not know what the heck I am doing...
just posting my thoughts , recipes,
...happy with an idea that someone may actually use it!!
:)
anyhow...
this morning in a grocery store, at the seafood/meat counter I was waiting to be served and a young woman asked me if I can share with her an idea for a recipe to make the salmon...(I was ordering)...
so I told her...
exactly what I will be happy to share with you...
We have family of 3 adults and a 4 year old boy...
so I will buy a salmon filet about 1-1/2lb in size...
(I keep any fish in coolest part of the fridge and no longer than a day)...
before grilling I would put little salt, and dill (fresh or dry) maybe 1 tablespoon of olive oil and marinate it for 1-2 hours...
make grill medium hot , lower to low and place sliced salmon on a grill
(the 1-1/2 lb salmon filet I probably would slice into 4-5 pieces)
keep it for about 7-10 minutes, turn it over and grill for another 5-7 minutes...
if you take a fork and can seperate the 'flakes" of fish flesh ...it is done...

I am not a guru nor fancy ...you might use lemon juice to 'cover-up' the smell of fish...
if you have someone that really does not like 'fish smell' you might to soak it in milk for an hour or so...
...dill is not necessary if you don't have it handy...
little pepper, and /or garlic, basil, thyme will do as well...
I suppose it is a personal taste that matters the most!!

Side dishes with it?
rice of some sort (we love wild rice mixtures), and plenty of grilled vegetables...
mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, red onion...

I hope I will remember to share with you salmon bake with feta cheese and pine nuts...
...I am not kidding you! the recipe is to die for!!!
Have a SUPER-DUPER Weekend!!!
